These two new RWG neck thru's bring the beauty of genuine BUBINGA wood to our ever-growing stable of exotic ELITEWOOD guitars! Bubinga is an African hardwood of the ROSEWOOD family and it's beautiful reddish-brown color has made it a highly prized tone wood for instrument builders world wide. It's closely grained, dense cell structure produces great ringing sustain and a focused, clear tone that emphasizes the fundamental note. This gorgeous top and back wood is laid over an ALDER wood core that adds just the right amount of warm resonant tone to the recipe. The full multi-wood MAPLE/WALNUT/MAPLE NECK THRU is capped on both guitars by a bound geniune EBONY fingerboard with medium jumbo frets. The pickups are specially designed and manufactured by G&B and are configured in the versatile HUMBUCKER-SINGLE COIL-HUMBUCKER set-up and controlled by a heavy duty five way switch, master volume and master tone. A whole universe of tones can be dialed in using just the stock set-up but we've gone one step further and wired in a COIL-TAP switch housed in the tone control and activated by a simple PULL-UP action.
